Laurinda Reddig lost her first daughter Rowan shortly after birth. Laurinda created the Remembering Rowan Project, and designed Rowan's Crochet Sampler Afghan as a Crochet Along on her blog, encouraging others to make squares to donate locally while learning new crochet stitches.
